Pricing for Designer for a Day
- Up to 3 hours at client's house, office or project area - $500 flat fee includes both lead designers at appointment
- If more time is needed, we can be hired on an hourly basis or upgrade to another design package
This package is for you if you are just looking for design and concept ideas but do not need assistance picking out every detail, ordering items, and styling the finished area.
We come up with design ideas and concepts via visual design boards and, if needed, get estimates from contractors/tradespeople. The client then proceeds with the design and project on their own. Pricing for Full-Service Design Package without Project Management
- Meeting #1: Free phone consultation
- Meeting #2: Minimum of $300 fee for initial design concept
- Minimum of 15 hours of design time per room
(The minimum $300 fee is for one room only. - if more than one room the fee increases. Estimate of design hours given at meeting 2)

If we are retained to provide project management services, we act as a liaison between you and the contractors/tradespeople.
If Black Cedar Interior Design is hired to provide project management services, we will:
- Make on-site visits as needed to answer design questions
- Communicate with contractors, tradespeople, and the client regarding orders, clients desired timelines, installations etc.
- Upon project completion, place furniture, style, and accessorize the space.
Pricing for Full-Service Design Package with Project Management
- Meeting #1: Free phone consultation
- Meeting #2: Minimum of a $300 fee for initial design concept
- Minimum of 15 hours of design time per room
- Minimum of 20 hours of project management per room
(The minimum $300 fee is for one room only - if more than one room fee increases. Estimate of design and project management hours given at meeting 2)

Pricing for Custom Project:
- Meeting #1: Free consultation
- Meeting #2: An agreed-upon flat fee for initial design concept based on scope of project
-Any additional services will be billed at hourly rate, and an estimate of design hours will be given at meeting 2.
*For all design packages listed above, the time it takes to travel to locations outside the city of Missoula, drive time will be billed at $50/hr.
